I joined BCHIP through DBN sponsorship, little did I know that this was the beginning of an incredible journey that would change my life. Initially I was very sceptical about it because the benefits they told us we are covered for seemed too good to be true. Fast forward to the moment when doubt was replaced by sheer disbelief, firstly, I found myself in Finima Health Centre and was referred to a secondary care facility, The appendicectomy was successfully conducted. While on my recovery bed, I couldn't help but think about the incredible chain of events that had led me to this moment.
