The aim of the BCHIP is to ensure all residents of Bonny Kingdom have access to affordable quality healthcare without making out-of-pocket payments whenever they need to access health services.

The programme operates on the basis of pooling participants’ scarce resources together to tackle

health risks/challenges and ensure that no single individual bears the sometimes huge financial and out of pocket expenses at the point of accessing health care if/when the need arises.
